Mobile Service Engineer

Location: Home Base in Thetford, travel throughout the UK.

An exciting opportunity to join an expanding business as a Mechanical Mobile Service Engineer who enjoys travelling throughout the UK as part of a close knit team based in Thetford. Experience in routine Mechanical Maintenance is a pre-requisite and an understanding of basic lifting equipment would be ideal, although training will be provided.

A day in the life of a Mobile Service Engineer at CSE will involve:

  • Conducting servicing and compliance inspection of lifting equipment.
  • Routine PPM Mechanical maintenance of theatre equipment, training to be provided.
  • LOLER inspection of equipment and loose rigging, training to be provided.
  • Working as part of a close, friendly, and supportive team to offer our clients an honest and valued service.
  • Ensuring all administration related functions are accurate and completed timeously.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • Mechanical Engineering Qualifications
  • City & Guilds 18th Edition qualification would be ideal.
  • Experience in Mechanical Maintenance
  • A reasonable level of IT literacy.
  • IPAF and PASMA are not essential but desirable.
  • Experience of LOLER is not essential but ideal.
  • Comfortable with working at heights.
  • Full UK manual Driving License
