Centre Stage Engineering was formed in 1998 and is now one of the leading suppliers of stage engineering equipment in the UK. We specialise in the design, manufacture, and installation of all types of stage engineering equipment for theatres, concert halls, school performing arts centres, churches, conference centres, and TV studios. Safety curtains, stage and auditorium elevators, power flying systems, counterweight flying systems, electric hoists, and AirLift seating wagons are examples of how our engineering contributes to a smooth and polished performance.
Centre Stage Engineering manufacture and supplies a wide range of theatre equipment including our RazeDecks mechanically assisted rostra platforms which have recently been installed in St Andrews, Scotland & being installed at the Bristol Beacon.
We have been certified by ISOQAR to Execution Class 2 (EXC2), which has a demanding approvals standard and allows us to fabricate steel structures that are applicable to the theatre/conference rooms/concert halls environment. This certification provides evidence of a suitable Factory Production Control (FPC), which ensures traceability of every component from source through the fabrication process, to final delivery on site.
We have 8,000 sq.ft of factory space that allows us to provide a complete range of services to all our clients. This includes mechanical and electrical design offices, an electrical panel building workshop, a mechanical fabrication workshop, and hoist testing facilities. Our servicing department provides maintenance, trouble-shooting, LOLER inspection, and reporting services.

We have been certified by ISOQAR to Execution Class 2 (EXC2), which allows us to fabricate steel structures in line with the British standard BS EN 1090.
All of our equipment is assembled and tested in-house before being delivered to site, this ensures it works correctly and eliminates possible issues that could occur during site installation.
